Our Story

Alisha Pope, Founder of The Muse Legacy Foundation.

Alisha Pope founded the Muse Legacy Foundation after experiencing personal loss, health challenges, and life-changing moments that reshaped her perspective on wellness, healing, and purpose.

After losing her mother, Linda Muse Pope, and her aunt, Debbie Muse Carter, to heart disease, Alisha became deeply passionate about educating and empowering women to prioritize their health while navigating the demands of everyday life.

Her journey became even more personal through motherhood, caregiving, grief, and her own commitment to improving her health and well-being. Through lifestyle changes and dedication to heart health awareness, Alisha was honored with the American Heart Association’s Lifestyle Change Award in 2024.

In 2026, she was selected as a nominee for the American Heart Association’s Woman of Impact campaign, where she raised awareness and funding to support heart health initiatives throughout the community. That experience further inspired the creation of The Muse Legacy Foundation — a nonprofit organization rooted in compassion, education, prevention, wellness, and support for women and families.

Alisha believes women deserve care too — especially while caring for everyone else.
